Tratamento da displasia fibrosa utilizando placa angulada

Este artigo apresenta o tratamento de uma paciente com displasia fibrosa do fêmur proximal com osteotomia femoral valgizante proximal e fixação com placa angulada de 130° em uma paciente de 19 anos. A displasia fibrosa é uma pseudo-neoplasia, causada geralmente por uma mutação genética, sem predileção por faixa etária, sendo que na criança tem maior chance de ocasionar deformidades, principalmente a deformidade em cajado de pastor, que é mais frequente no fêmur proximal. Apresenta ainda características similares ao cisto ósseo aneurismático tanto nos exames de imagem quanto nos exames histopatológicos. O objetivo desse artigo é descrever o tratamento da displasia óssea com osteotomia valgizante do fêmur proximal e fixação com placa angulada de 130°.
