Enxerto ósseo vascularizado no tratamento da pseudoartrose do escafóide

Abstract

Nonunion and avascular necrosis are frequent late complications of scaphoid fractures. Although conventional bone graft is successful in obtaining healing in a high number of cases, the vascularized bone graft is a new and good alternative, speccially in proximal pole fracture nonunions. It is technically easy and offers the advantages of a decreased period of immobilization and higher union rate.
