The discoid meniscus is a rare congenital abnormality of the knee, characterized by an abnormally large and circular meniscus. This condition can predispose the patient to painful symptoms and compromise joint stability. This scientific article presents a case report of a discoid meniscus in a 16-year-old adolescent, emphasizing the importance of clinical and radiological findings and indications for surgical treatment with a description of the operative technique.
