Fixação do componente acetabular não cimentado na artroplastia total do quadril
Keywords:
Hip prosthesis, Acetabulum, ProsthesisAbstract
Osteointegration of the acetabular prosthesis in cementless total hip replacement is a complex event, depending on factors related to the patient (good bone quality), type of prosthetic material chosen and surgical technique performed (press-fit, good fixation of the implant). Thus, surgical technique becomes very important to the success of the surgery. The authors report each steps of the surgery, so that total osteointegration of the prosthe- sis to the acetabulum become possible.
