The authors present the technique of retinacular reconstruction after lateral release. Advantages: correction of lateral retinacular imperfections that, after techniques of superolateral patella realignment (release), had evolved with synovium cysts, painful and/or functional complaints of patella realignment operated knees. Reproducible in hospitais of medium complexity and in outpatient environment awards clinicai improvement with low comorbidity.
