Abstract

This article will present treatment for extra-articular fracture of proximal tibia. This deformity is usually treated with surgical fixation. However, we report positive changes in the application of extramedullary methods such as Locking Plate (LCP) and the LISS system (Less Invasive Stabilization System), especially in patients with poliomyelitis due to numerous complications caused by surgeries and previous lesions.
