Abstract

The authors present the technique of trochleoplasty and fixation with Hebert/s screw on the treatment of dysplastic trochlea. Advantages: correction of lateral retinacular imperfections that, after techniques of superolateral patella realignment (release), had evolved with synovium cysts, painful and/or functional complaints of patella realignment operated knees. Reproducible in hospitals of medium complexity and in outpatient environment awards clinica! improvement with low comorbidity.
