Abstract

The patient reported presented hypophosphatemic rickets, the main hereditary cause of altered Vitamin D metabolism, with the typical multiapical deformity in varus in the four bone segments of the lower limbs. This article aims to describe the sequence and the strategies to correct the deformity of lower limbs of the patient diagnosticated with hypophosphatemic rickets, through osteotomies, monolateral external fixator in both femurs and hexapodal circular external fixator in tibias. The procedures were performed only after clinical control of the disease.
