Abstract

Aneurysmal bone cyst (COA) a difficult to treat lesion that should be surgically treated, especially when it occurs in the immature skeleton due to the risk of recurrence. Good results depends on a rigorous analysis of imaging tests, biopsy and immunohistochemistry of the lesion. This article demonstrates treatment performed in a patient with metaphyseal COA of the left distal femur, associated with lower limbs discrepancy and its treatment outcome with no functional limitations.
