Aneurysmal bone cyst is a rare pseudotumoral lesion of unknown etiology whose main location is the metaphyseal region of the long bones. It is usually an eccentric lesion that inflates the cortical bone from the metaepiphyseal region of the long bones. Another location is the spine, compromising neural arch elements. Treatment of choice is curettage of the lesion and bone graft. Recurrence rate is low. We present a case of rare location: talus and the approach and surgical strategy adopted.
