Tratamento de adamantinoma de tíbia através da técnica de congelamento em nitrogênio líquido
Keywords:
adamantinoma, bone tumor, liquid nitrogen, ressectionAbstract
Long bone adamantinoma is a rare bone neoplasm, representing less than 0.4% of malignant bone tumors. We describe the treatment of a 12-year-old girl with this lesion, after diagnostic confirmation, with the technique of resection, treatment with debridement and curettage, and subsequent submersion in liquid nitrogen and fixation with plates. This technique is supported by literature of reconstruction, and is an alternative to ablative reconstruction or treatment with an endoprosthesis or tissue bank.
