Os autores apresentam a técnica de artrodese de joelho pós artroplastia infectada utilizando compressor externo híbrido. Suas vantagens: correção de desalinhamento simultâneo à consolidação, não disseminação intramedular da infecção, reprodutível em hospitais de média complexidade e a facilidade de remoção do instrumental.
