Reconstrução do ligamento patelo femoral medial com enxerto do tendão do quadriceps

A luxação traumática da patela é frequente na adolescência e muitos casos evoluem para uma condição de instabilidade patelo femoral. O tratamento, tanto da primo luxação traumática, quanto da instabilidade patelo femoral, ainda é controverso e a boa anamnese, somada a exames complementares de imagem, orientam a melhor decisão entre uma proposta conservadora, com imobilização e reabilitação, ou cirúrgica. Existem muitas técnicas operatórias descritas e a reconstrução do ligamento patelo femoral medial se apresenta como boa opção, pouco invasiva, de fácil reprodução, demonstrando bons resultados na literatura médica, sendo possível a associação a outras táticas. Descreveremos neste artigo a técnica de reconstrução do ligamento patelo femoral medial com enxerto autólogo do tendão do quadríceps.
